Lake Morey Summit 2009

On March 18-19, 2009 about 65 people gathered at Lake Morey for our Third Annual Supported Employment Summit. The goal of this summit was to gather as Supported Employment advocates to address the crucial issues we face in supported employment today and develop an immediate plan for sustainability and growth.
Mike Reilly returned as our facilitator and coordinated the World Café: “the World Café is an innovative yet simple methodology for hosting conversations about questions that matter.” Topics included:
- Capacity: Coping with current/future reductions in funding and staffing.
- Sustainability: Keeping people employed.
- Growth: Serving new people.
- Professional Development: Assessing and meeting training needs.
